Busy Busy Busy

Super busy traveling to the beach since I got back to the galapagos. The rest of my trip to the galapafos was good - pretty scary flight back where we had to make two attempts to land in Quito because of bad weather it was foggy and raining and Quito is notorious for having a really bad runway (short and between huge mountains and the city is literally built up around it and theres a cliff). Lots of turbulence and a school group (yes you get to take field trips to the galapagos when you live in Ecuador) of children thinking it was funny to scream at the top of thier lungs every time the plane hit some big turbulence. To say the least It was scary and I´m glad to be on land for 2 weeks before making the trek home. Another post will contain the details (and hopefully a few pictures) from the rest of my time in the Galapagos. Took a 6.5 hour bus to Atacames, on the northwest coast, yesterday. Atacames is supposedly one of the best beach towns in Ecuador - kinda cloudy today but still really nice and lots of good seafood! Going back to Quito tomorrow and then off to the jungle on Saturday and then home on the 16th….it´s crazy how fast this is all going. I really hope you are all doing well and I miss you all.
